Many Xfinity customers in the Sacramento area went without service on Saturday afternoon [April 26, 2025], forcing some businesses to temporarily close their doors due to the outage.
Xfinity released a statement stating the cause of the outage was due to vandalism.
A Xfinity spokesperson said the vandals seemed to have burned a utility pole and cut its fiber wire.
