10 teenagers arrested in connection with series of vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School – Sacramento, CA

Ten teenagers from the Sacramento area have been arrested in connection with more than 100 felonies related to vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office said that between April 19 and July 31, the school suffered nearly $100,000 in property damage due to multiple burglaries and acts of vandalism. The sheriff's office received six crime reports over that period of time.

Detectives identified 12 juvenile suspects involved in crimes against the school, resulting in 106 felony charges.

This included 56 charges of burglary, 35 charges of conspiracy, 11 charges of vandalism, one charge of reckless possession of a destructive device, and one charge of intention to intimidate with a destructive device.

On Thursday, 10 of the juveniles were arrested and taken to the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility, the sheriff's office said. According to the sheriff's office, all of the people arrested were teenagers.

Two of the juveniles are yet to be found.
