The owner of Studio 8 Hair Lab, Christine Geiger, said that people who specify their pronouns should go to a pet groomer. She also said she didn't care that she was in violation of MI HB 4744, a Michigan law banning gender discrimination. Well, trans people and their allies can break the law too, Christine, and we thought your store front could use some redecoration. Glass etch and spray paint reading "TC <3s trans folks" and "trans power" did just the trick. Trans people and our allies will not let this stand in our community.
