The Asheville Police Department reported the vandalism at a residence on Adams Street. On the morning of June 6, police say the owner of the BMW discovered it been defaced with graffiti, including an anarchist symbol on the hood and "NO BID" written across the side. Police also reported that the vehicle's front tires had been slashed.
Police say the incident is believed to have occurred overnight on Wednesday, June 5.
The B.I.D. is said to be "corporate redlining and privatization."
