Officers with the Lufkin Police Department recently had a rare encounter with a member of the marsupial species native to Australia. On Sunday, police received a call about a kangaroo that was spotted hopping down Fuller Springs Drive.
While officers made their way to the scene in their cruisers, the kangaroo actually jumped in front of cars. Fortunately, the animal was not hit in the process…
